The plant covers a total area of approx. 6000 m2, with production, warehouse and office buildings as well as a post-production sewage treatment plant.
Henryk Kulej establishes "Warsztat Galwanizacyjny" („Electroplating Workshop”) and launches the activity in the scope of performing electroplated coatings such as: copper, brass, chrome and nickel plating.
Henryk Kulej and his son Andrzej Kulej begin a joint operation under the name "Zakład Powłok Galwanicznych GALWAH". The company develops quickly with regard to production capacities (implementing new technological solutions, launching semi-automatic drum line for zinc coating, modernising and rebuilding production facilities).

The company is joined by: Kulej Helena and Kulej Aleksandra. GALWAH receives a Certificate of achievements in minimising waste issued by “WORLD ENVIRONMENT CENTER” (WEC) in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development.

Establishing an independent Quality Control Department fitted with modern measurement equipment.
GALWAH is transformed by virtue of the entry into the National Court Register (KRS) No 0000005819 of the District Court in Katowice into a General Partnership and takes the name "Zakład Powłok Galwanicznych GALWAH" Kulej i Wspólnicy Spółka Jawna. In the same year, GALWAH obtains the CERTIFICATE ISO 9002 : 1994 standard issued by RWTÜV Anlagentechnik GmbH.

30th anniversary of company's establishment. Launch of a new electroplating line for alcaic alloy coatings zinc-nickel with black and transparent passivation without Cr+6 chromium. Certification of Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 issued by TÜV CERT. Modernisation of the laboratory. Participation in the Electroplating Seminar POKRYCIA DEKORACYJNE MIEDŹ-NIKIEL-CHROM (DECORATIVE COATINGS COPPER-NICKEL-CHROMIUM) organised on 10.05.04-11.05.04 by ENTHONE – one of the world's leading specialist electroplating companies.
Commencing the cooperation between GALWAH and German economic entities and R&D associations resulted in joining in August 2005 the Polish and German Chamber of Industry and Trade (AHK).
